Wibrate project at Precisiebeurs 2013 
On 3-4 December, the Wibrate project had a booth at the exhibition “Precisiebeurs 2013”, in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. Over 260 companies presented their latest technologies for precision measurements. The booth of Wibrate showed a life demonstration of the bearing monitoring solution using the V-Mon 4000 from Inertia Technology.

Ramon Schwartz successfully defended his doctoral thesis  
On 22 November 2013, Ramon Schwartz successfully defended his doctoral thesis entitled "Data dissemination in vehicular environments”. The research has been performed under supervision of Prof. Paul Havinga (promotor) and ir. Hans Scholten (assistant promotor).

EIT connected textile workshop in Helsinki 
On 18-19 November 2013, the EIT connected textile project organized a workshop in Helsinki. In this workshop the results of the one year project were presented and lectures about patenting were given.

Invited talk at ISN 2013 
On 12 November 2013, Paul Havinga gave an invited talk at the Intelligent Sensor Network conference (ISN 2013) in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The title of his talk was “Wireless, Self-Powered Vibration Monitoring and Control for Complex Industrial Systems”.

PS particpates in presenting the FP7 Sunrise project during ICT 2013 in Vilnius 
On 6-8 November 2013, the ICT 2013 conference took place in Vilnius in Lithuania. PS participated in presenting the Sunrise project and showcasing its newly developed underwater sensor node.
