Workshop on pervasive application of wireless technologies was successful
The workshop organized by the three CTIT research groups, i.e., Pervasive Systems (PS), Design and Analysis of Communication Systems (DACS), and Computer Architecture for Embedded Systems (CAES), and sponsored by the CTIT SRO WISE on the Pervasive Application of Wireless Technologies on September 28 attracted about 40 researchers sharing a passion about wireless technology.

Fred Dijkstra from Xsens Technologies was the keynote speaker and gave a presentation entitled “The challenges of productizing inertial motion tracking”.

Hans Elias de Bree from the Microflown Technologies was the invited speaker and gave a presentation entitled “Charting sound fields”.

In the technical sessions, 9 papers related to vehicular networks, beam forming, and wireless sensor networks were presented and followed by discussions.
