Go-Green project meets with end-users 
On 4th July 2011, Go-Green user committee meeting took place in Nijmegen. The meeting started with a short introduction about the project, which was followed by interesting and constructive discussions with the end users about user expectations from energy management systems at home, automatic control of home appliances to save energy, and exploitation possibilities of the project.

PS outing: Visit to Oeral festival 
As part of its social program, PS visited Oeral festival in Terschelling. The outing consisted of boat trips, over night stay in Vlieland island, as well as visits to musical and theatrical performances in Tershchelling island.

Special session on European projects on underwater sensor networks in Oceans 2011 conference 
Nirvana Meratnia and Paul Havinga organized a special session on Oceans 2011 conference in Santander Spain on European projects on underwater sensor networks. In this special session, various papers from running and finished European projects in the area of acoustic underwater networks and underwater sensor networks were presented and current challenges, technologies, and trends were discussed. In total 14 papers from a number of projects including SeaSTAR, CLAM, UAN, RACUN, Sowfia, and CO3AUVs were presented.

CLAM project meeting in Santander 
On 6th June 2011, CLAM project meeting took place in Santander Spain. In this meeting, the project's results and achievements of the last half a year as well as work in progress were discussed.

SeaSTAR meets with end users 
On 31 May 2011, SeaSTAR project on underwater monitoring platform met with its end users committee members and the STW representatives to discuss project progress and exploitation plans. After a short introduction to the project given by Nirvana Meratnia, Wouter van Kluenen and Koen Blom the two Phd students working on the project presented their research. The discussions with end user committee members from TNO, The Netherlands, SUASIS Underwater Technology R&D Ltd., Turkey, and Microflown Technology, The Netherlands was very fruitful.
