Real-world experiments with underwater sensor networks in a diving center 
The first set of real-world underwater experiments of the CLAM project took place on 30 March 2012 at the Dive World diving center in Enschede. During the three days perior to these tests, CLAM partners met and prepared a set of tests, including integration, communication and sensor tests. The sensors used in this set of experiments were CO2 and sound sensors.

Inaugural address of Hylke van Dijk 
On 22 March 2012, former PS member Hylke van Dijk held his inaugural address at the Noordelijke Hogeschool Leeuwarden (NHL), where he has been lector in Serious Gaming since 2011. A delegation of PS members attended the inauguration ceremony and visited the accompanying experience market.

Nirvana Meratnia featured in Bits and Chips magazine, in which she talks about energy-efficient wireless sensor systems for structural health monitoring and in-network data processing techniques developed by the University of Twente within the European project GENESI (Green Sensor Networks for Structural Monitoring).

CLAM project meeting in Lugano 
CLAM project meeting in Lugano, Switzerland took place on 22 and 23 February. Important topics discussed in this meeting were related to the development of CLAM’s new underwater sensor node and real-world test plans.
